Calling all Canadian mainstream journalists who blog
A Ryerson project is looking for insight from Canadian journalists who blog.
The Mediasphere & the Blogosphere project began in January and they're concluding a survey today. (My e-mail invitation to participate was misaddressed so I didn't receive it, but a researcher phoned me last night).
Because the journalist-blogger community in Canada is so small, they need as much participation as they can get.
If you're interested in participating, please contact Susannah Schmidt at s3schmid@ryerson.ca today.

Ted Koppel back on Nightline

Ted Koppel returned to ABC News Nightline last night to talk about changes at the interrogation prison at the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for people the U.S. accuses of links to terrorism.
You can download the show as:
- Nightline's audio podcast [6.5 MB MP3 file], or
- Nightline's video podcast [31.3 MB Quicktime file]
The show comes on the heels of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling last month that the Geneva Convention's Article 3 applies to the prisoners being held there, most without charge, and after the New York-based Center for Constitutional Rights released a report on torture alleged at Guantanamo Bay.
